Who We Are
Huis Mimosa Old Age Home, a program of BADISA Western Cape, is a registered NPO Home for the elderly, which provides safe accommodation, comprehensive care, and community-based services to the elderly.
Our goal is to create a home where our residents are treated with love and respect and can be happy in safety.
We are located in the Hex River Valley, 30 km from Worcester, Western Cape and 140 km from Cape Town.

Huis Mimosa is situated in the heart of the Hex River Valley. We have amazing facilities for all our elderly people. Our mission is to give them a safe, fun, and beautiful place to live.
How can you get involved?
Huis Mimosa Home for the Elderly is a registered old age home and a registered Public Benefit Organisation (PBO no 930006348). In terms of Section 18A of the Income Tax Act nr. 58 of 1962, bona fide donations are tax-deductible in the hands of the donor.
ADOPT A GRANDMA/GRANDPA
Make a difference in a grandma / grandpa’s life! Some of our residents are lonely and would appreciate a visit, a chat or just an ear to listen to them. Bring them something sweet and make a difference in their lives!
